        At first KXIP won the toss & choose to bowl first. For Mumbai Indians Q. De Cock played a terrific innings. He scored 70 runs from just 39 balls. Rohit Sharma also played a good innings but he didn't converte this innings with a big innings. He scored 33 runs from 18 balls. Then Hardik Pandya played a little cameo. He scored 31 runs from just 19 balls. After all They reached 176 runs and lost 7 wickets. They lost too many wickets, that's why they couldn't reached a big total. Their two opener's played very well & scored a big partnership, but their middle order's couldn't utilized it. That's why they didn't scored many runs. 

Then Kings XI Punjab played like a champion. Their opener's played excellent. KL. Rahul back to in form & played a terrific knock. He scored 71 runs from just 57 balls. Chris Gayle also played a excellent innings. He scored 40 runs from just 24 balls. Then in middle M. Agarwal shows his talent & finished the match. He scored 43 runs from just 21 balls.
