Taskin Ahmed and Farhad Reza have been added to the squad for tri-nation series

Taskin Ahmed and Farhad Reza, who have not been included in the World Cup squad, but, for the tour of Ireland, have been named in the tri-nation tournament in 19 man squad.

Akram Khan, chairman of Cricket Operations Committee, confirmed the duo's involvement in the team. He said that the demand for the coach Steve Roads has been taken in the team.

Some of the players in the World Cup squad have some minor injury problems. Pace bowling coach Courtney Walsh told about the need to take two more pacemen to give them enough rest. Just like the demand of team management, these two have been added to the squad.

The Bangladesh team will go to Ireland on May 1 to play the tri-series. Mashrafe Mortaza will face against Windies in their first match on 7 May. In the final, Bangladesh will play five matches in Bangladesh. Then from there, the team will go to England. Cardiff has two more preparatory matches before the World Cup.

Mostafizur Rahman has ankle injuries. Rubel Hossain's stride strain problem and Mohammad Saifuddin suffers from tennis elbow injury. Taskin and Reza have been involved in the tour of Ireland to make the World Cup team fit in the preparatory tournaments.

Earlier, the chief selector said that Ireland's performance could be considered for the World Cup. However, Akram said on Sunday, if there is no injury to anyone, there is no scope for change in the World Cup.
