BANGLADESH LOSE POINTS IN ODI RANKING

The ICC's annual ranking update in Tests and ODIs has reduced points in Bangladesh. However, England and India retain their top position in the annual update of the ODI and Test rankings.

In context, the results of the 2015-16 season have been omitted from the update. However, fifty percent performance of the 2016-17 and 2017-18 season has been considered.

After the last update of the ICC on March 19, Bangladesh had 68 points in the Test. However, the annual update has reduced the points of the Tigers. Due to the three points down, Bangladesh's points in the ninth position of the ranking are now 65.
In addition, the ICC's annual one-day ranking update has also caused great deterioration in Bangladesh. Bangladesh's points in the seventh place in the latest rankings were 90 points. But considering the annual performance, the Tigers have dipped 4 steps. Currently Bangladesh have 86 points.
