ENGLAND BEAT WEST INDIES BY 8 WICKETS ( ICC WC 2019)

Root-Woak's 104-run win in the second wicket pair easily won England. Root got the World Cup second century.
Joe Root scored an impressive century with 8-wickets win against the West Indies in Centurion.

Was this West Indies blown up the Pakistan and started the World Cup? There is no way to understand at least today's match. Where the Caribbean is a terrible pace bowling! The way England played the game of fast bowlers with the West Indies.

Jason Holder and Carlos Brathwate-six pacers with four bowlers today took part in the West Indies. The aim was to prepare England's Gheela plan with clear, speed. The West Indies plan was back to the boomerang. The English paceman had lost their temperament, while English batsmen played in the favor of Ocean Thomas-Sheldon Cottrell. The result was also in front of the eyes, with 101 balls remaining, the hosts have returned with 8 wickets.

The target was not big at all. Especially against England's explosive batting line-up, it was difficult to fight against 212 runs. But the West Indies did not have the hope, it was not. Regular openers Jason Ryan did not get to open the innings when he was injured during fielding. Captain Morgan's bat was also uncertain. The West Indies bowlers could have spread the fear of scary in the English camp if they could take quick wickets.

Joe Root did not let it be. In the first half of the match, the ball took two important wickets. Then, for the first time in his career, he picked up his second century in the World Cup. Only 94 runs in the 16th century of ODI career did not get any momentum. The West Indies did not get to return, but only after winning the team from undefeated.
